Putting this here on behalf of a mate who is selling it for his auntie (seriously now!), it's been in his family for a few years but they've been given a car by the government or something. It is completely unmodified and definitely a bit of an obscure hot-hatch - but don't listen to me here, read all the blurb below.
- 82,000 Miles
- Full Service History
- 12 Months MOT
- Road Tax to July 2011
The Suzuki Baleno GSR was introduced in 2000 to compete in the sporting hatchback market. Suzuki fitted a Mazda-supplied 1.8 Twin Cam 16-Valve engine with 120hp and 112lb-ft of torque as also used in the Mazda 323 GT.
Being the top sports model, the GSR boasts an impressive specification. Alloy wheels by Speedline of Italy are fitted as standard. Further exterior additions include a rear spoiler and front foglights. The interior upholstery is stylish alcantara.
As this model was sold in the UK for less than 2 years, they are hard-to-find - particularly in unmodified condition like this.
Features
- 1.8 DOHC 16V Engine
- Power Steering
- Electric Windows
- Electric Mirrors
- Remote Central Locking/Immobiliser
- Alcantara Sports Upholstery
- Air Conditioning
- Alloy Wheels
- Front Fog Lights
- Rear Spoiler
I've driven it a few times myself and it's a right weapon, the 1800 twincam just loves being booted, though it still cruises incredibly well. It's nice for being one that hasn't been messed around with too, they look superb stock and go well enough already! I'd love to find this a good home as they'll become a bit of a collectible soon and with this one having the full history and such it'd be nice if someone could keep hold of it until it becomes a retro oddity. I can't do it, I've got enough.
Anyway, if you want it, best thing to do is give him a ring direct on 07811942893 - if you PM me it'll only slow things down as he's the one with the car in his possession! Cheers.
