I love this mk3 on corvette sawblades lupo with smart car hubcaps and along with the white mk2 one of my favorite cars of the show... this northern irish vento on mitsubishi l200 wheels.. this car drove from belfast to dublin to holyhead to telford on mismatched steels and no trim or rubstrips etc on the friday after being painted on the thursday and was then driven into the show hall and built into package of awesome it is now! more info on the vento here: shedsixty2.wordpress.com/2012/03/16/keeping-the-faith/

I'm sure nobody has ever seen an old VW van wearing Porsche wheels. Nevertheless, I enjoy the fact that they are usually fitted to something beautiful and flowy and elegant, but I've fitted them to something about as elegant as Dawn French falling down a fire escape after a couple of bottles of wine.

I would love the Alfa teledials on my Fiat wagon, but I don't think I can have adapters made up due to being 5x98 to 4x98, maybe I need to look into this more Possibly do a 5 stud conversion, using Alfa hubs and brakes (well, discs)?

This is by far the worst case of 'spending way too much time on something not really important when I should be doing something way more productive with my time', thread, that I have ever known.

I rely on the ability of readers to see a tongue in cheek remark.

Oh, I forgot about my old Lupo (first VW fitted with Renault Alpine turbines on that I'm aware of) This was October 2008. Christ, time flies!

Jetta on Corvette wheels. Jetta with Jeep wheels. Volvo on Porsche wheels. Golf with Lexus wheels. Buggy on Camaro wheels. Audi on Schnitzer wheels Mini and Jetta on Corvette rims. Subaru on Audi rims. (or more likely 5x100 Golf rims!) BMW on Merc wheels. BMW rims on a variety of Japanese stuff: Jetta > Corvette. Audi on Porsche rims.

I've been idly thinking of getting some early Boxster rims for the Leon (two pairs of fronts, so as not to create clearance issues at the rear). Anyone have any advice on PCD adaptors, spacers etc? Not sure what the comparative offsets are...
