Hello guys, you may have seen this for sale in the car section. I was giddy. Went and viewed it/ picked it up today. its a handful, a loud handful. it shifts. the pedal box is horrible the gearbox is only 4 speed it has some dodgy rev counter and temp guages. did I mention its loud. also, the throttle is like on/off and then you can progress to full throttle. would a remap on the MJ sort this out and make it more smooth? copied from the advert: Tax: June MOT:12 months 2ltr 16v redtop running twin 40 webbers mega jolt programmable ecu mk2 escort rear axle n brakes tran x straight cut 4speed box bias floor mounted pedal box poly bushes throughout mk2 escort rad 60mm springs all ford wheels. battery in the boot.
and one pic from just after I bought it.

Cool, that is full of win for sure. What plans for it now? Just a tidy?

Yeah, its cool but there seems to be a lot to fix there - you should seel it to me just to save yourself the headache. Honestly, you'll be doing yourself a favour.......... That's brilliant, with a wheel change (or even just a wheel colour change) that could be quite the sleeper. The engine bay looks real neat too and you should be able to fix up those little crusty bits no bother.

Few little bits to tidy, but the hard work has been done. Loks like a nice little toy there. I'd be tempted to move the coil pack from on top of the exhaust manifold tho

as above, saw this and thought it look cheap. Seems a bit thrown together but all the expensive bits are there and hard work done. Just needs a bit of fettling!
