autotrader - sierra - national - page 5! Wow that looks nice i prefer it to the mk1 versions, not bad at the price. Shocking how criminally cheap the regular joe sierras are though.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Strange... there's absolutely f*** all XR8 involved by the look of it! <Edit: Potential libel removed> Nice car though.

Good sleeper that really. Although I imagine driving an XR8 with the standard old lump in would be a tad dissapointing by todays standards.

Good sleeper that really. Ha ha, yeah I'd glance across at it at the lights, "Stock 2.0 GT, head's probably cracked", and expect to blow it away... Then feel like a muppet while tasting some tyresmoke.

It does sound like a DIY from the spec. A 5.0 would offer some punch, I got an old mag with an XR8 against a standard Cossie, different characteristics, but same amount of performance. on a similar note, would one of these be any good? handling(comparison to xr8/cossie type thing), power, drive feel etc? cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4643031987

No-one's ever let me wind one up properly... ;D But when I did drive one briefly it felt a bit lardy. Fine cruising car though and I really like the look of the late-80s ones. Nearly bought a 2.3 notchback a while ago until I got an insurance quote!
I thought the 5.0s all had 5-stud hubs, that one appears to have 4 studs. Could be wrong though!

Hmm they weren't old enough for me before, before of course i owned a bunch of 80's cars and the old muscle slipped further away!
I thought that was a looker, and wasn't sure if they were too massive or not. People deal with it but LHD and Auto would take some getting used to, specially if they are a bit lardy... Loved in the drag scen ive noticed but that figure, cheap and relaible power in a straight line.
Not sure about the studdage on particular models but the wheels do work for me on that.
