Here's one of the gold one on the move that I took  The Corsair to me is a like a mini '61 to '63 Thunderbird. Quite similar styling and trim on the front half of the car with exception to the singular headlights. Its clear someone from America flew to the UK and said 'consider this, this and this in the design'. |

Having looked around on here I think the wheels were called slot mags (or something similar). I'm going to have me a corsair on slot mags!

My father had three new ones as company cars. He was the manager so was entitled to something a little better than the MKI Cortina's the reps drove.
My memories of them as a child is they were like mini Yanks ;D
In fact first car I ever drove was a 4 year old H reg 2000E that belonged to my father in law. At 5 years old it needed sills and strut tops for MOT which might explain why they haven't survived very well.

 Despite posting first time round I failed to notice this pic ^ was very local to me, taken in Bexleyheath! And this one is in Welling!  That would potentially make 3 in the local area as slammage has a maroon one (or 2)  lol I've obviously spent far to much time living in this borough and working on highways locally ;D [/lamp post spotting]  ;D |

just the 1 and a mk1 tina 2 door  that green one slammed on the wide weller colt steels(correct name fo them they are NOT banded) is a good friend of ours he lives near me too i know of about 10 corsairs within the proximity of 2 miles from my house they are cool cars, affordable (at the moment) 60's rwd ford what more can you ask? especially when lowered and chocie wheels are selected they look the ducks guts! must get some pics up of mine on here |

From the depths of my memory it was based on the cigar shaped Thunderbird scaled down for the UK market. I love them , especially that pic of the red estate with two other favourites , the classic & capri , hiding behind ! |
