TBH I thought the sig was a picture illustrating the car, till i saw pogs message. Big ones are a bit OTT, get in the way and pointless, although good old Jim is doing no harm sat there n your Avatar. Must say Roughwelders sig is ace and the size is as big as i'd want to go personally. Now we got that out of the way. Looks like a cool, My mate wats a golf diesel, I told him he wants a Corrado, so i'll be interested to hear about this one. VR6 must be crazy!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Yeeha it sure is a thrilling ride with endless torque and a great sound at high revs. I have driven other cars like the Audi TT which had 225 Bhp,but this was still only a 1800cc and all the power was with the turbo kicking in which seemed like a different type of power to the VR6 or any other large engined car.
Speaking of diesels the other car we have is 92' Golf GTD, this is a great car with again lots of torque and does 0-60 in 12 secs and once on a private road I got 115 mph out of it ;)with a bit to spare and they do 55 mpg on average driving I can strongly recommend the mk2 GTD

Yeah maybe so ,, they only made them for about 6 years but the vr6's didnt sell very well cos they were £24,000 to buy which was a hell of a lot back then, when u consider that the R32 only costs £25,000 now, it was a pricey car. As for the new Corrado , I think they are doing a new one with the R32 engine in it
