DAMN that hot autofive, a Mayflower done like that is something I NEVER thought id see. Epic!
A chap I know has one that used to be a horrid mettalic blue, but has now been resprayed a much more suitable colour. Its tastfully modified and aparently handles really well, and judging but the stance I'm not suprised. Ill try and get pics next time I'm there.

There's also a green Kustom one over here which is the nicest one i've seen. The Street Rod one is OK (apart from the scoop), definitley much nicer shape than standard.

Even as a nipper in the 60s, the Mayflower has always, in my eyes is the runt of the british motor industry, even with extensive body mods, it seems to fail in the looks and proportions, its obviously a down sized Renown that has lost its way in the details, start with a renown rather than a Mayflower, a much better looking car,

I did a little bit of googling, primarily to try and get an example of a particular shade of blue for the Photochop Thread, to no avail. Instead, I discovered a few very interesting examples of one of my favourite bits of automotive design. That one looks like it's about to nod off to sleep ;D

omnomnom
If I had the 13k asking price, I'd probably go for that one. True that the Renown has the better proportions, but as the ad states, they're a bit rarer than the smaller Mayflower.

That's a Renown. The owner has no interest in it whatsoever and just leaves it sitting outside in the road advertising his 'wedding business'. Nice pictures guys, I prefer them standard but these do look nice

No interest at all...I'd say the fact that he owns it and does 'weddings' with it counts as interest. It seems wrong to judge a person's enthusiasm based on where he parks his car and a desire to make money.

Ah didn't realise it was a Renown, definitley prettier as standard and that one is lovely.
I reckon they'd make a great gasser, already look like they've got A/FX style wheelbase.

Judging by the dirty look he gave while looking down his nose at me when I waved at him from my Austin A35, I'd say the man has no interest in old cars apart from financial!
