I recently won a pair of Stromberg CD125's on an Alexander inlet manifold, i don't need the manifold and would like to find out what it fits.
It has AEC 59 CD on the underside which i assume is a part no. anyone know what its for?

Hi Seth, i will put some pics up when i've worked out how.
for the time being a bit more info, iv'e got an alexander conversion on my herald and the manifold is allmost identical. the only obvious difference is the flanges for the head are parallel to the ones for the carbs on the herald but on the new manifold they are not.
The seller bought it for his mini but it didn't fit .
Not much to go on i know but its got to be something with siamesed inlets, studs which are shared with inlet and exhaust (there are no holes in the manifold for fitting). a small engine and not mini or herald!

These sound just like the ones I had before the ex sold them! I also picked them up for a Mini but they were wrong, so going by the shape and the fact it had 2x CD125's hanging off them I came to the conclusion they were off an Imp.

well i feel a bit stupid now, went and had a look at the Herald today and the flanges on the manifold are not parallel as i thought so i checked the part no and it turns out its the same as the new one!.
Oh well, at least now i know what its for i can do a decent listing when it comes to putting it on ebay!.
