Can you eleborate on release bearing noise? When exactly does it make a noise? Yeah no prob. Occasionally , when clutch is fully depressed it starts to whine , it stops about a third of clutch pedal travel up (doesn't seem to affect clutch operation). It's been doing it since the clutch was replaced . You can just buy the release bearings for these things as far as I know. It'll be fragged in a week as I need drive space for my Superminx

It's supposed to do 27mpg, but in the real world and with its age it'll be down on that a bit. I've never bothered to calculate it to be honest.
an example though, I got it from Sittingbourne to Ipswich , on just over 3 quarters of a tank, the tank fill at the time was just over £50

used this all weekend to help a mate move house. It's been noisy (exhaust) but running fine. If there is no interest I'll be cashing in the tax and weighing her in don't want to but if no-one wants it I have no choice as I need cash for my new Superminx

Okay whats the light iron rate there? I'll give you weigh-in money for it, to save it from the frag, and buy the tax too so i can get home. I don't need another vehicle but I hate seeing working cars destroyed.

The local (Whip Street Motors) is advertising £170 plus for any car at the mo and it's heavier than a standard car, the tax when cashed in equates to around £80 so £250+ is what I'd get to scrap it. Might give them a call with the specific details, it's a sad state but at this rate I may be able to get more from the scrap man than a sale .
