Think it might of been the head gasket last year, took it to another garage where they quoted me £350 so i went home and did it myself with the help and advice from some buddys and Imp owners (thanks again andy998imp)
Fingers crossed i wont need to do it again this year!

that sort of situation is exactly the reason i started to specialise in retro cars. There are hundreds of normal garages round my area but most of them will turn cars away that actually take a bit of thought into sourcing parts. I was originally mobile then got a unit and started with every day cars. I have such an avid interest in older cars that newer cars just bore me. I like to wake up in the morning and want to get up and go to work.

everyone is down south! maybe not then! Sounds like a good plan to fix oldies, once word of mouth gets out you should do fine. 22! good time to start getting on, good for you.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Know what u mean, but my Isuzu trooper has covered 190,000 miles now and still loves doing a 300 miles round trip in a day, especially seeing as now it has Xr2 seats welded to the Isuzu runners.
