I know that the no-wheels look doesn't appeal to some but I happen to think ridiculous body drops are pretty cool. There's more pics, but I'm afraid the thread will become more about the not unattractive lady rather than the Suzuki. Let's not bother stating the obvious, eh ? Also, when you click the youtube link you might not be able to resist the other links suggested...if this is the case, I don't blame you (not that I did, obviously) but we don't need to know! Here's the pics: I've only got two copies here, but I think that カスタムCAR is probably my favourite car magazine in the world. The Suzuki you see here is in this month's issue, which you can buy at amazon.co.jp. I'm pretty sure you can sign in with a uk Amazon login, but I'm it might just be that my UK and JP accounts have the same details! Back to the car, I'd have different rims (maybe even some pressed steel OE 4x4 jobbies off something bigger) but otherwise the factory stock body and trim combined with the extreme lowness make it a winner for me. Bodykits and body mods? Who needs 'em? Bog stock and sat on the floor FTW.

Really cool. I was looking at a Jeep Cherokee in the scrapyard sat on the floor without wheels and started imagining it slammed like that. I like the absurdity of something designed to have huge ground clearance modified to have absolutely none! ;D That SJ also reminds me of this Niva...

I really like the idea of dropping it that low, it'd be nice to see it on some dinky rims too, something that might fill the arches out summore. It'd take the edge off the lows but might still look cool.

ohh yes!! i love that! thought about doing somthing like that to an sj last year.. but could'nt find a cheap/rot free one(is there any rot free ones left out there?!!) but did have a play in paint to see what it might look like.. (not the best crop..but you get the idea ) and an older LJ80 for that proper retro look

Not so keen myself, but in answer to a couple of qquestions, yes the SJ has a seperate chassis but I seriously doubt it'd go that low without major chassis and/or suspension mods as they have live axles front and rear as stock.
I reckon the rear of the chassis has been reshaped and the front axle has probably been swopped for a dropped beam or mayve an IFS from a Vitara, neither of which is hugely difficult to achieve, but will drop your lil' SJ right into BIVA territory.

TBH I'm not totally sold on the stance/wheels, it does look a bit no wheels as stated, I love seeing these though. What I do like is that body drop plus wheels its main feature and only obvious feature, a stock looking red and black body makes it great, no scene stickers/toys or anything. Inspiring...

Anyone who knows me knows what Ill say about the lady comment so wont say anything I'm still unsure how I feel about the whole no wheels look, but holy moly its clean, and soooo much work going on there too Very cool in my book I was wondering if any of those videos would make it on here, I favourited one a while back mainly due to the plain look of confusion / fear when the model started it (3 rotor track car.... 240z I think.... tasty motor).... Ill go find....
