I like the yellow and black but the prospect of leaving the bottom half of my van blue and just painted the top orange and white appeals immensely What do we think?

Guess what! When we landed at Salzburg airport in January I noticed they still use Type 2 VW buses. No if thats not a source for low mileage Euro spec buses then I don't know what is! When I first read the subject I thought you meant these jobsworths!! The scurge of my daily M4 commute. All the switched off drivers (and there are a lot of em) think they are police vans so slow down to 50 in every lane. curse word.

wicked idea! having just chequred the roof of the kitten, i would say that the easiest way to acheive your look would be using a solid base colour then fablon to do the squares, however this may not be so easy around the curves of the van, but is definatly quicker for flat areas. i will certainly be looking out for you if i ever pop up to sheffield and get thirsty. can sudgest one of those large stainless kettle things so you and your gathering convoy can just stop in the nearest lay-by for some road side free tea. might also be worth trying your local market for large boxes of 'broken biscuits' - they are cheap and there is sometimes one or two that are not broken make their way in! HTH p.s. heres my mates van old van; acheived with rollers so the finish was, 'interesting'.

Winner! - I think practicality means I won't be able to have a sign quite that big on the top of the van tho...
I haven't quite decided whether to use fablon or paint yet - I suspect that fablon may net me a better finish in the long run as there's less to go wrong, but I can't help thinking that paint would look better if done well.

Aren't you worried that you'll be driving along the motorway one day and they'll be a 747 in your mirror?
