I have a third gen camaro, currently a 305 an t5 although I have a 350 I'm building up at the moment.
Frank, what are the doors like on your RS? I need a drivers side one at least...

Also, it did still have the ECU in the cabin which didnt affect the car in any way once I removed it. How is the ignition controlled on TPI's? Is it electronically controlled by the ECU or stand alone? Just spotted this. Mine is also an ex-TPI car, now on a holley. The ignition advance is controlled by the ECU. If it's still the standard dizzy then you won;t be getting any advance. I bought a cheap made in china HEI dizzy with vacuum advance off ebay for about £70 new and it made a world of difference. Highly recommended.

an even cheaper alternative would be a good used stock pre-ECU HEI distributor which should be available for buttons from swap meets and the like. Make sure its one with vacuum advance canister and not a big plug for the ECU controls LOL.

don't find many swap meets in Scotland that i know of. As long as it does the job better than what i got just now!
