engine? nah. just wouldnt be the same. it would be like taking your (not yours personally, the generic "your") wifes heart and replacing it with a titanium one that made her an unstoppable killing machine. sure it would be awesome, but it just wouldnt be your wife. and since i just compared my buggy to a wife, you can assume were already hitched. must be the only wedding where you can attatch cans to the back of your wife and not have her consumate the marriage with someone else as a result.

it was a small family only event. just a small church, feeble old vicar, crying parents. the buggies family were imported over from germany:
"how was the trip over" "it was terrible! we were in a crate. your father in law here managed to have an "accident" all over the floor. filthy pig!" "oh...good food?"
"do you take buggy to be your....can you quiet the engine a bit please?" "vroom vroom VROOOOMM!" buggy drives off fast me: "shes very sensitive about her tourettes"
oh yeah, you werent invited cos it wasnt real.

Oohh I love beach buggies. I had an Airfix one in about 1975, I still want a real one. Yours is fantastically fantastic and just what I see in my head when I close my eyes and think 'proper beach buggy'.

Damn it every time I see your buggy G'boy I realise how curse word I'm being at getting mine back on the road, made worse by the fact I know how cool it is smoking around in one... As for the pics, try turning the wheel so it's visible in the picture like in your last one, this generally makes the vehicle seem more 'whole'... ie one corner doesn't disappear because it's a dark tyre. Get low down too, probably waste height, this accentuates the wheels on a buggy and makes it look chunkier, as they can look awkward shot higher up. Apart from that try some industrial locations, empty warehouses, disused buildings, industrial estates etc Looks more aggro. Best I get in the garage before another summer slips by. Thanks for the inspiration ;D

i got lower down on the later pictures. they do look a bit odd from higher up.
i also looked for industrual areas. the one near the barn (with the hazard signs) was the only one i found on my travels. i wasnt really out to take photos. plus i didnt want to get too many near derelict/scruffy buildings (as much as i love them!) since i wasnt sure it would suit a beach buggy.
cheers for the comment wagoneer. when you close oyur eyes do you picture rusty/poorly painted/falling apart buggies? if you do its uncanny!

cant comment on the pics but i reckon you need at least 8 inches out of the cage and screen. that'd look fab. thangyouverrrymurch. ;D does anyone remember tortelvis from dread zeppelin?
