My friend and I are looking for some people to share a unit with in the Bristol area. Currently we are using my lockup and his driveway on opposite sides of town, not ideal!
So somewhere secure, with power and water is needed. We have certain things to share, like jacks, an engine hoist, basic ramps and tools etc.
We don't look down on any type of car, as long as you're friendly that's what counts!

Great! Whereabouts are you based? I'm currently in Bedminster but possibly moving to Southville in the new year, and my friend Sam lives in Stapleton. We're possibly looking at something to fit 2-3 cars in and the tools etc (Only the big ones, we'll probably take sockets etc home in case of theft). I'll let you know what we find  |

there were some places in horfield a while back, i ended up building my own workshop on a mates farm as rent was far too expensive in bristol, if you find anywhere let us know as somewhere closer to the centre would be better for me!

Will do mate, at the moment we're probably just going to move to a slightly bigger lockup garage until we find something thats 'just right'. We'll keep you posted if we find anything.

ive got a workshop and forecourt in weston-s-m. indoor work area for 3 reasonable sized cars and a propper car ramp. drive way that will fit 5 cars with a nice space around them then a forecourt at the front with space for atleast 10 cars. Idealy you would have someone buying and fixing cars then putting them out the front to sell. On one of the busiest roads in weston. Hey mk14, does sound great but I'm afraid Weston is just too far away. We're really only looking at Bristol and 10 mile radius to be honest.

That's Georges old place. He used to work out of there around 1992-1994. Quite a useful space and the workshop is nicely tucked out of the way from the road (it goes around the corner behind the shops IIRC) Corbs, if I come across somewhere I'll let you know - but as you might have gathered, places go pretty quick in and around Bristol...especially if they are cheap!  |

He stopped using it around 05/06 then rented it out. its now avalable to rent again. |

If you need another person to chip in for this then I am very interested. Obviously price/location dependent (what kind of price are you thinking?) I'm located near the centre of Bristol and fed up with living in a flat with on-street parking. Am serious enough to come and look around if anywhere suitable is found so let me know.

Hi Guys, Not posted on here in a while! I live in Kingswood and am looking for a lockup to rent share with some other people. I currently pay £35/month for one car storage down near bristol airport but it is no good for working on the car as there is no power, only lights! That link that 'pickmeup' posted looks good, maybe we could arrange having a look? Ideally I could do with somewhere with a ramp, or permission to install a ramp but I'm not sure what we will find! I have plenty of tools to share, engine crane/stand, a-frame/towcar etc so just let me know Thanks |

Any idea how much it is likely to work out per car per month? I'm guessing its suitable for working on the cars and not just storage?
