looks like a poor mans interpretation of a delta integrale, especially with those lights and bonnet, and the fact they're used a 5 door to base it on. and the curve to the arches, and the boxiness of the sills. theyve obviously got a pic of one, held it up to the golf and said, 'lets make it look like this as much as possible'. the arches look just too boxy in my eyes though. I think it would have looked loads better if they met at the bottom of the trimline, so not breaking up that long horizontal line. and the arch tops sloped slightly. but then youd have nowhere to stand your brew whilst working on it.

they tried bless 'em looks ok, but just a bit too boxy, the tops of the arches would have been better at a steeper angle i think

I'm glad that it makes 200bhp naturally aspirated, I had to check the build thread to see if it could back up the arches. 200 ponies is enough to justify the bodykit I think, although really it would need to also be 4wd to make any sense!

Modus Operandi: 2) If you haven't got something constructive to say, say nothing. Sure this is stifling your freedom of expression, however I'm not interested in cars you don't like, I'm interested in cars you do. Conducting oneself in a positive manner will result in positivity.[/i] Just sayin'. I like the Golf - I think those arches look great, and there's clearly some craftsmanship gone into creating them.

I want to box arch my Fiesta, box arches are lovely. I also thought 'Integrale' when I saw the golf, not too shabby mind.

I'm a little surprised with the negativity towards that! Personally I think the arches are fine/good/cool but the bonnet it what spoils it! I suspect it's done because of whatever engine, but without and with the arches the car would look mean. In a good way!
Cease thy negativity!

Was this at DC10? If so, I was there. And as most of us know it's a beetle really, not a mk3 golf at all
