Clarkson said at the filming that they knew the car wash was going to be bad but they really didn't know quite how bad. I really don't think they weren't expecting to abandon ship. The monkey thing was obviously set up though as there was food on the roof and they were off the main road. I'm not sure the bending the pole the wrong way was set up. Haven't you done it yourself? I know I have! The Micra scrote was no-where near the colour it appeared on screen! Oh, and we had to laugh at the scrotum comment three times It was actually quite interesting watching what and how it had all been cut together. A bit boring though as we'd seen all the videos already!

I beleive the really really pink one was just a show car and that colour is not available to buy, while the less 'in your face' pink is the actual colour you get when buying a pink micra.

I thought the pink one looked like there was a bit of cgi jiggery pokery going on.

I thought the pink one looked like there was a bit of cgi jiggery pokery going on. That would be the filters on the camera they use on all their videos. It makes the cars look very ethereal.

Yep. but a bloke with a comedy paper bag on his head in a pink car would get some looks what ever shade! I too wonder whats real and whats not. good entertainment .

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Guys it really is that colour. As Mic said, two different cars. I never thought I'd get into discussing the colour of a new Micra on here, who cares? What I like is that they realise that Micra CC buyers won't be watching TG, hanging on their every word, swinging between buying and not. TG is a great programme and ideal content for todays climate, enough to keep us happy and enough to appeal to anybody else in the room that has to watch it. Labradoodle that doesn't like cars? Why not? Fifth Gear tonight was dire, small car test relevant only to people who don't watch the programme. Good work, it's struggling and really should be put out of its misery, as for Tiff going on about not liking old cars... Then proclaiming the GT40 rep he's driving is great. Well it's a new car, even if it's made from NOS components, it's still freshly constructed. Shameless self promotion of it's own web based content... Come on guys, get some integrity back...

Why not? Yeah its great in that way, you don't have to think too much, just watch and enjoy. The way you can watch it with anyone is the most amazing thing. Also the constant clowning around and the sidekick format can nearly get a bit much, but it does get me chuckling and laughing out loud. In the Micra feature the Parcelforce van and pink wearing public were a bit radio active! I cant find a pic of the CC but I imagine its like this 90's shade here. must admit to liking these bright colours, i wont be buying a car in one though! having a bike in magenta is enough! not the best episode i've ever seen Err and the rest LTP (lost the plot) Hammond regresses to previous role of curse word local DJ and they slagged the caddy on the journey there - OK it's not a great car but it's different! Jag feature was rubbish - letthe audience decide Jag or Aston!!! Usual race between a bloody expensive purpose built 4x4 and an a probably equally expensive water based skud missile Stigg laped the track in the old RPC and was the fastest (surprise suprise it's not like he didn't know the way round) Yeah not the best by far

I was going to say after watching it, it certainly is going down hill. I've sat and watched all the serieses but never once had any thourght about things being staged etc whether because it was so funny or not, but films in the past two episodes seem to be so odviously staged its almost cringe worthy, when they were in the caddy etc
