Thanks for the compliments It depends how far over you tilt it as to the fluid problem. There is only a gallon of juice on board so at the mo it is fine except the diff oil is coming out of the axle breather Started the first sill as it was up in the air Looks pretty good at the front bit worse at the back The tilter does make it easier buy I got the mounts wrong Rear panel has deformed a bit which is no great problem but the biggest problem is the balance. I mounted it level with the bumper line as that's where the Mustang brackets were but it is very bottom heavy and took 3 of us to turn it I will have to drop it on some stands and re weld the brackets 2" up/down to try and compensate. It would probably be ok if it was a bare shell

Hey Alan, glad you're sorting this - looks like a really solid example to be fair. Already bookmarked for references.... I'll be hoping to see this at the next playday I can make.

Got a bit of time in the office today ;D As mentioned earlier the front is a bit better than the rear, well it was till I took off the wing The front of the sill under the wing has been plated before and has rusted through along with the rest of the original sill Not being very pretty it was given the order of the cutting disc.. A few pieces of Zintec later.. I extended the new sill before I weld it in place so it can be done as one complete panel.

More welding Got the sill glued on front sorted started playing with the boot floor This rear wing has had a bad knock at some point in its life so some filler is evident. It would be a huge amount of work to redo all this so I will repair the rust and re fill where needed. Don't know weather it is noticeable but I think my welding has improved a lot thanks to people like TonyBMW and Oldbus. I am not going for the never welded look but all welds are now butted unless a spotted seam as original. I am also spending much more time making repair panels and thinking more about the order of removal and replacement
