Hi gts, would like to go there one time but at the mo' any spare time is spent scraping old undercoat off...yuk. There's a faded, cracked old sticker saying "3M rubberised undercoat, lifetime guarantee" ;D Looks pretty much like it went on when new/ish, the paint's all original under it.
Found a couple of holes, but very solid really.
Like it lots so far...

Well made it back in one piece, even returned decent mpg's (don't mean to go on about that, sound like an old man!!).
Wish it was for surfing, was visiting my nan to make sure I'm still on the crimbo list...will pay off in the end!
Whats the A52??
I reckon you should ring 3M and see if the lifetime guarantee still stands, cant belive your out scraping underseal off in this weather, thats very keen.

Cool stuff J (Ben?), nice to know you can count on it eh. A52 is Area 52, there's a thread in the Communities section. Wouldn't think of claiming off 3M or anything but it does seem to have done a decent job, if it's as old as it seems. I started a thread here but not much interesting there. I'm lucky to have a garage with heaters because I paint in there, though it's still v.chilly down low in there at the mo'. |
