so, yet more highly confusing 'upgrades' and changes I don't want. hurrah!! I'm on a painfully slow connection, and it simply wont do what I want it to with the 'new' setup, its doing my head in, I can only view the forst page of each album for some reason? if for example I click page 5, its just releods page 1 again?! does anyone know if theres an 'opt out' button somewhere, like there was last time? I cant bloody find it if there is. as pennance, three pics that appear on page 1 of some of my albums-

Photobucket has been driving me nuts for weeks. Time for a change me thinks!!

Working fine for me. What is it that you're finding so annoying about the changes? It's basically exactly the same, they've just shifted things around and changed some of the buttons...

I was surprised by the chanegs but then I never read any of the announcements or emails they send.
I just paid my subscription for the "pro" account as well... First time I've had to pay for it there is usually some way to get it for free. Meh.
I'll get used to the changes, the only gripe its so bloomin' slow to navigate around, always has been....
Still prefer to the alternatives though. Flickr drives me mad

The thing that is annoying me is that the img codes are hidden until you hover over a photo. So you hover, codes appear but if I right click to copy the codes disappear before you can copy one. I'm left clicking to highlight then doing ctrl c but its annoying to have to change methods due to an unwanted "upgrade" I can't find a way to get the codes permanently displayed. There is a "view all" button at the top of any album though (used to be at the bottom) Here's couple from my front page anyway. Aha! In doing that it appears they have fixed my grip by having automatic copying like they used to. So I'm happy again...

so, yet more highly confusing 'upgrades' and changes I don't want. When will these companies realize that some people like things "as they were"? Whenever I upload a new pic it goes into my default album, even if I select the correct one. At least the single upload has been replaced with the three pics again, but for how long? I like some of the features of Photobucket but glad I have a Flickr account as a "back-up".

I think these companies like to be seen to be doing something when really, they should just sit back and provide a reliable service for those of us that want a convenient way to share whatever it is we're sharing on forums and such. My biggest gripe with Photobucket has to be the click-make-a-cuppa-while-it-loads function they have... but it's the cheapest and most reliable way for me to consume vast amounts of bandwidth for a relatively small annual fee.

How rubbish would the internet be if websites never evolved?
I actually find the new Photobucket format to be quicker and easier and, given that I just use the free service and thus haven't ever given them a penny, I appreciate the fact that they're updating and refreshing periodically. It just makes sense (to me, at least).

I usually hate things evolving... I.E EBAY grrrrrrrrrrr
But the new photobucket i find realy easy. I like the fact that you don't have to navigate away from your photos to see how the bandwidth is doing either... I'm not sure but it seems quicker to me too....

I've not had much problems with photobucket until now, the re-design I can cope with, but not being able to view other pages in a album is a real pain. I thought this might be because I am using Firefox and NoScript?

The most annoying thing for me is the new video with sound whenever you upload photos. I don't think the new one is much different from the old one, but how it was several years ago was the best - no fuss, upload and away we go! A few from mine:

I'm using Firefox and it's not causing any problems. Have you tried turning it off and on again?

They wante dme to upgrade again to pro as it had lapsed, but I couldnt fnd the free ways this time - so cancelled the pro account and deleted loads of old albums.. as a lot of my pics end up on facebook I just use firefox's right button option of copy image location, then click the little pic on on here that saves me typing the [ shapes with ing in the middle, then just paste.. anyways heres some from my front page..

Can't say I'm a huge fan of it changing, although I do like the sub albums bit down the side. A couple from me. apologies for camera phone spec pictures.
