Really really nice deforestation one on my must own list Did this get imported through calif or nine classic imports in Manchester it has a similar plate to my old pontiac I got there ??

It was registered in Manchester, But I don't know who brought it in. Also, Dropped it of for a splash of paint this morning.

Nice cougar you have there. I had the exact same MT valve covers on my 65 Mustang back in the late 70s. If you are going to track the car again you should consider the "Shelby Drop" modification where you drill 2 holes 1" below existing upper control arm mounting holes to give the front suspension a much better camber curve and thus handling. dazecars.com/dazed/drop.html

Considering how badly these cars can rot you have done well with that shell, going to be a lovely car, Has to be one of my favorite yanks, my mate had a 67 cougar, in dark metallic green, 302 and a 4 speed, great pub car, strange in that little area, say within a hundred yards, there was a Red 63 Riveria, a 71 AMC Javelin with a 390, a Morris 8 hotrod, a Austin Devon Hotrod a Mk2 Zodiac with a Buick 350 in it, A 390 ford pop racer, a 454 Mk2 Transit, and my 289 powered Mk1 Zodiac
