To go against the RetroRides grain (eeek!) I think it looks just about right at this point. A car on stilts is never good, but I think there's a perfect level for a car to be lowered before it goes just that little bit too far and throws the proportions off. Yes to bringing the rears out a touch, but IMO keep the height as it is I 100% agree.

don't go losing the ride quality just for the sake of going silly low, thats just pointless and i don't think this car needs it. buy some decent hubcentric spacers for the rear and it will look great. good work. and paint that rear valance! ;D

Picked up some proper awesome speakers at the Essex swapmeet the other day. But they were grubby as hell. Stripdown and rebuild! That won't do! (off to Maplin for new drivers, yo!) Done! looking' swish. Just gotta get them fitted now. And in other news, lifters are still borked, and now the autobox is playing silly buggers. Oh well. More to the list of curse word to fix.

Maybe PM Cris And I can't see the box issues being you unless you got it into 4th with Overdrive in that space Fault has always been there, just really minor, and all of a sudden its got really really bad. Ah well, will get it sorted one way or another.. Ooh nice set of Hi-Powa Dlfs?! I've got a couple of sets of shelf speakers and then I bought an estate so haven't even tried them lol *edit* just looked again at the size compared to your hands, there friggin huge!! Silly man. These are quite possibly the biggest shelf speakers I have seen in real life. Hence why I bought them on the spot, they are truely epic. They look a lot nicer IRL too, camera phone pics do not do them justice. They are like Parcel Shelf ghetto blasters! EDIT: They are actually resting against the side of the 840Ci in that pic. They are THAT HUGE. speakers may or may not be that big in real life

Ok, after replacing the shafted bass drivers in the Kenwood truck container sized shelf speakers, I thought it wise to test them out, expecting them to sound cack. I was so wrong. So much so that I took the £40 JVC speakers out of the 'shelf, and just fitted these instead (having expected the Kenwoods to be 'for show') Enjoy!

I nearly nabbed them myself at the swapmeet, stopped twice to drool over them, but talked myself out of a purchase... I like them very much but would have doubled the weight of the cinq, and wouldn't fit anywhere in the scooby estate. Look rather good in your car...

Those speakers sound sooo good! I had a set of Pioneer TS-X10s in my old daily and they where really, REALLY great! I think because they're angled to you instead of upwards makes a LOT of difference. The soundsystem in my Chaser sounds great too, and uses the same type of speakers. And they look VERY good

I like them very much but would have doubled the weight of the cinq, and wouldn't fit anywhere in the scooby estate. Look rather good in your car... They are quite hefty! But they wiegh less now I have dispensed with the 10 tonnes of rotting Kenwood bass drivers and fitted some plainly naff but good sounding speakers from Maplin Excellent audio purchase. Just needs a purple beacon for the shelf now then. Will be looking for one. Would complete the look a little more ;D it needs an oilcooler with the pipes coming from the holes in the valance! I have a cooler. I have holes pre-cut in the front grille (not even by me, they were already there ). I Just need some pipe. Ghey.

First, some fun news. This can only mean one thing!CARPHONE! Yes, it works. Well, nearly. Needs a new O2 SIM but i'll sort that. Cheers Hardcore. This formerly resided in the benz before it went on a diet and now its in here, looking ace! Ringtone? ohh yes.. Anyway. This morning, my engine bay looked like this. Sadly, now its like this Some of you knew about my engine troubles, what with faulty lifters and squiffy head gaskets, but now the trouble has been compounded by the completely inaccessable coolant house at the front of the block's V, so I thought I may as well crack on and sort it out. All of it. And that means getting the heads pressure checked, new belts, pumps, the lot. And a rad recore. lol. Ah well. Needs must. Will keep you posted!
