i see loads of retros all over wales but havent ever seen anyone organising a meet on here.

Where abouts are you mate, I'm in the swansea area but there hasnt been a retro rides meet in a while, well as far as I'm aware of.

I'm in the Swansea area also , as far as I know us South Walians ain't met up together since we had a little club stand at the Singleton Park show in Swansea ? I was gonna organise a meet on the august bank holiday but unfortunately didn't have time to do so  |

I've just read on FB that there's a new show called 'Retro at the Castle' or similar to be held at Caldicot Castle next summer so although a long way off yet it'll be something local'ish to look forward to  |

The polo's sorn'ed at the moment , it's a bit drafty in the winter due to the heater going in the bin ! I'm sure I saw your Lancia at another show this summer .... think it was up at the gnoll IIRC ?

Yep that was me been to 2 more this year G-tec and at the Skewen show but its the same as your polo, off the road at the mo due to it covering my garage floor with all of its lovely oil. I will get round to fixing it, hopefully in time for summer  |

Yeah that castle show does sound awesome but its ages away!
I understand that I'm asking this question at the wrong time of the year but even in summer I didn't see much advertised for us welsh!

As far as I can remember the last proper Retro-Rides meets were organised when hotwire himself was living in Swansea ! I used to arrange a multi-forum meet on the august bank hols but ain't done one for the last two years , any suggestions on a date and location for a little winter meet though Smithy would be much appreciated  |

Hi,how many of you run your retro's through the winter? in other words if I organise a winter meet/run will there be enough interested to come along? I have run an Imp weekend for the past 11 Years based up at Pandy near Abergavenny,we had 30 Imps this Year! Let me know guys/gals

Me and my dad would be well up for meeting with you imp guys!
My dad used to race a sidecar motorbike with a tuned and overbored 1000cc imp motor!
