Glad you liked it! Any chance of seeing scans of the Y and Z here? Sure, try and do it tonight/tomorrow OK? Could be a lot more scans and uploading coming soon - hi-po rebuilt PC (thanks to ScrapingScrap) now up and running, and Broadband connection on its way at last. Excellent!

Glad you liked it! Any chance of seeing scans of the Y and Z here? Apparently they were all built in something like six weeks.

weren't those pickups badged as chevy loves in the states i want one now Chevy Luv = Isuzu. You of all people should know the Isuzu-GM link Datsun trucks only sold in US as Datsun, but Mazda B1600 etc sold there as Courier, and Mitsubishi L200 as a Mopar of some sort. ;D ;D never even thought about it to be honest they do look very similar to the datsun trucks though i really want one now ;D ;D

rmad, i too bought that first issue of Street Machine, i was 14. I bought it for the front cover pic and article on the "Henry Hirise" Mk2 Consul with, i think, a 454cu in rat motor behind its flip front, curse word, that car changed the way i thought about cars forever. I can still image the picture of rubber aflame on the tarmac after a monumental burnout. That is one car that would have stood the test of time.
