Over here in Sweden we are thankfully blessed from that attitude, here we all come to shows with what we like and are proud of, it beeing Euro, USA, old, newer, Hot Rod, Kustom, Chopper, Street Fighter etc. sure some are frowning their noses at certain types of modifying, customizing or destroing of a bike or car but never would you be turned away at the gates with your ride, that's not even on the map!!! Like here on May 1 all the Italian brand clubs like Ferrari, Alfa, Fiat, Maserati, Ducati, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, Vespa, Lambretta etc. gathers outside an old castle to celebrate spring and hopefully the begining of summer and all commers with Italian cars, bikes, mopeds and even boats are welcome and if you happen to have a Japanese bike, German car etc you'r also welcome (to pull up on the gravel parking lot) to show your pride & joy, this is one of the most relaxed crew of car nuts, bikers and other pasta eaters and I really enjoy this event and it's also my first tripp out on the bike for the season....
Most big Swedish car & bike events like Wheels Nationals & Cruise is open to all, you drive a BMW 750 Lowrider, a stock Austin A30, a Cal Look Bug, a Hot Rod or whatever join in and have fun!!! That's what we'r all about and that's why most of us spend cold winters in the garage working on that "whip" or "fighter" just to be able to just ride it for pleasure or show it so others can enjoy your creativity.....
DP says: I can't stand intolerance of any kind......

why cant everybody just respect everybodys diffent veiw, i mean we all love cars don't we ? so who cares weather there modded or not just enjoy the cars and have a laff with the owners !

I don't.
I like cars, old, new, classic, retro, modern, race, rally, standard it doesnt matter.
don't see the point in bickering between two groups who are into a very similar scene.
I personally don't buy practical classics (probably twice in the past 10 years) as I am more into modified and performance cars, but that doesnt mean I have anything against the cars thats in there.
Debate is all well and good but when it results into near arguments about what is right and what is wrong then it serves no positive purpose.
