The initial idea was the 3rd Sunday, regardless of when in the month it falls. It is tempting to move it this month, as this falls on the A52 weekend (Which is the closest weekend to the middle of the month), however I don't want to cause any confusion that could lead to people turning up on the wrong day.
For the time being it's the 16th, but if this proves to be an issue for too many people then there's nothing stopping it being moved.

Will be there unless anything goes horrendously wrong at A52 though I envisage being incredibly grubby.. I think for the purposes of getting the meet established, regularity is going to be key so I vote to keep it at the same point of each month (ie. always worked out as 3rd Sunday regardless of where it falls).

I have a family christening on the 20th/Feb down Ilminster! Room for an outsider to pop over take some pics? ;D Definitely, photo's would be awesome, but just another persons presance is always a good thing. Anyway, as pointed out, the next meet will be on the 20th of feb I hope to see a few people there. The last one was a poor turn out, which was a shame, but I think it was just an un-lucky month really, lots of the previous attendees were out of action for various reasons, and the weather was far from ideal. PS, deltabelta, I think I saw you the other day, it's a very noticeable and striking car, looks awesome out on the road ;D

Anyone still up for doing something after? a more in-depth chat about car related stuff over a pie+pint? Also i'm annoyed with old cars being slower than modern fast hatchbacks (even though my current Renault 5 GTX is as fast as most!) and as i love old cars and performance i'm thinking about building a project. i know that mentioning 'project' is scary and you may say i'm a little mad but i'm thinking about, and have given it serious thought, building a mid-engined, rear wheel drive Renault 5 with a Renault 2.5 V6! :-D 200+BHP and only 750kg! as the word 'project' was mentioned don't expect this to happen overnight!

I'd still be up for doing something like that yeah. Just need to see what others want to do. It's probably best to hang around the car park for a bit at least to give everyone a chance to get there.
Project plan sounds good. Retro Clio V6.

Yep, this is still on for Sunday. I'll be heading there strait from work, so I'll probably be there about 10 past 5, but it officially starts at 5:30. It is a pay and display carpark, but there's no charges on Sundays, so it's all good. There's a large VW meet up there once a month (as in fills the top deck at least) and they've never had any trouble, even when the attendants have come around.
You'll probably find a barrier down over the entrance, but if your cars narrow or low you can squeeze past it, or there's another entrance just to its right that you can just drive in. It sounds dodgy I know, but it's completely normal, me and friends have been doing it for years to go trials riding in town at night, and like I say, the VW meets never had a word said against it.
Theblackbox. I can't say I spotted you, but I've been pretty out of it this week with a hefty college assignment due in tomorrow morning. I would have been on my way back from college.
I don't suppose anyone knows who waved at me out of a fiat panda this morning do they? haha.
