completly off topic, but I'm just half way through season 1 of fringe and it's starting to get a bit confusing lol, just found out that there is going to be a forth season.....how i don't know, especially when Peter never existed at the end of the season 3 finale, but the Walter was still observing the other side, may be instead of going over for peter he goes over for a bit of tech? or maybe in this new time line Walternate crosses over instead? Hmmmmmmm

Okily wee update, A man came, labeled up the connections, and then took the loom away, so fingers crossed he can make it come to life......secondly, I bought me an X5 oil pump cheap on the ole egay, so I shall be modfing that and going rear sump, this will allow me to go back to a standard steering geometry. Also doing the same with the sump and the pump as the guy on that v8 forum link allows me to lower the engine a further inch lower in the bay. oh happy days... now I just have to learn how to weld ally with me new tig

So I'll be cutting and shutting that to give me a rear drop sump, allowing me to drop the engine down a further inch. need to turn the X5 pump from this into this allowing me to do this

its under a cover sat outside the garage as I'm getting a crack on my mk1 granada coupe.
On the upside, once the grannys out of the way, I got a guy comin to dig me a new pit in the garage, so at least I can dip the escort now, and get it back to bare metal....if any one else wants a bare metal dip for £150, let me know...it wont be till around october, and I don't know yet how long the solution takes to desolve the rust and paint, but I'm looking into it.

each to their own and everything, but IMO, that's a ruined Mk1 Escort.. Fair play though,. it's...'different'...

Why comment? If you don't like it go and look at something else. It's hardly ruined, from the outside it looks like a Mk1 Escort with arches. Just because he's got rid of the expensive to make any real power from Ford engine doesn't ruin it, it makes it better.

Says the boy who's taken a solid enough Mk1 Caddy and completely ruined it by throwing every bit of tat available at it (thinking it's 'different')...then throws a wobbly if anyway criticises it even though he constantly asks for peoples opinion. Hypocrite is all I can say! At least this is a really thorough and challenging bit of engineering and some serious work which will result in a 70's car with modern underpinnings that drives so much better than it has any right to. Some people heh??

this car is awesome and has a lot of ingenuity thrown into it, not just a whole pile of stickers thrown on it. Somebody settle the score once and for all and start a poll and separate the sheet of steel from the sheet of vinyl. I for one would be interested in what the rest of the readers think.
