i should really say a bit more about these so... RWD ;D unleaded from the factory nice and light on the steering, clutch etc very, very reliable. has a cool, retro, micro dynamics rev limiter/electronic ignition i fancy selling as i have two other early datsuns and am after something with power steering/ automatic for my work run. so will swap/ part ex for a pre 1991 laurel or similar.

That is utterly fantastic.. I looked at the ad when you first put it up, and each time i sign on i cant help but check it out again. Id love to buy it off you but unless i sold my caddy theres no way, i guess you wouldnt want to swap with cash your way. aha, worth asking..

I have seen and worked on this car and I can say with some authority, it is really good underneath certainly within the top 3 in the UK for solidness. And with a Datsun that was their only real downfall, so lots of win potential with this as a base for further resto/mods.
Its also priced exactly the same as the white one I sold earlier in the year needing bodywork/respray, and that wasn't as solid.
Put it this way, if it had been born an Escort, it would be three times the price, which I can never really understand since this is much much rarer, and technically, a better car. Ho hum, I'm sure this won't hang about long.

I love this car. Personally, I'd leave the paint as is for the more natural rat/sleeper look. Obviously a DET would make it uber!
