Sorry for the delay in updating but with the festive season looming large I've beenearning some brownie points spending some quality time with SWMBO
Have no fear though, I'm still squeezing in as much garage time as I can

Anyways, enough prevarication, have some more pics:
Clean up, fit and plumb power steering pump
Collected up some more dirty bits
And spent a couple of evenings cleaning them with white spirit and polish them up
Weighed in the Shitara shell and the scrap pile from the garden.
Farewell Shitara
Start bolting clean bits back on
Try the Vitara rad for size
Add throttle body, fuel rail and throttle cable bracket
I have a new highest point under the bonnet, gonna have to do something about the SFi box as I want to keep the bonnet standard
I'll have to order some bits and pieces before the radiator and cooling system can be plumbed in so I got the shell back in to make a start on the bulkhead now that I know how much room I've got for the brake master cylinder and pedal box to live in.
Cover the engine up
And start to trim away the last remaining pieces of the old front structure
See how rusty it was, this was inside another previously (poorly) repaired section
That's better
Get the doors back down out of the rafters to check that they still fit in the holes in the sides of the car......
.......which they do and also provide a more accurate idea of where the wings need to go, which is handy for figuring out exactly how much space I've got under the bonnet (and for getting another one of these pictures )
Take the wings and doors back off again and start to sort out the n/s a pillar, grind off the remains of the old outer repair and cut the bottom back to gain me some clearance for big tyres and steering
Fill in the end of the sill and inner hinge reinforcer
Cap it all off
Fold up and weld in the first bit of the new bulkhead
Tonight I tidied up the corner
And cut out some more rot and replaced it with fresh metal
