Fairly distinctive as it is. I'll forgive the odd proportions as they seem to be to improve the aerodynamics. Details Back masked flames expose the carbon body But then - hold one thats a bit yellow for chrome relecting the sunset That'll be the gold plated engine And a vid of the engine being dyno'd. 1664hp and 1158ft/lbs torque. And in testing Matt

F'in awesome machine!!! But... Why all the gold...? Gold's far too heavy for a dragster ;D It's only plate so it's light, and Gold is super-awesome at heat reflection. McLaren F1s had it behind the cockpit. I don't think the suspension needs it though I love how barely any of it is actually a BMW any more. not much more than the lights tbh!

Loose the gold and it'd be full on WIN!!!!
I think gold plate like that just says "ooh look at how much money I've got :-P "

Well, despite the gold-plated engine bay this is actually one of the more tasteful cars which Queen St Smash have built. Historically all of their rotary drag BMWs have been hot pink. The owner also used to have this Ferrari 360, which they put twin turbos on and painted candy-apple red with huge chrome wheels and a brightly coloured leather interior:

Wow. Admittedly there's some unusual choices but you can't fault detail or finishing like that.

Wow! Top notch show/drag! I think its the gold plating on the brake discs I'd be most concerned about. Doubt that would last long

Personally i think the gold looks superb against the black. It sounds absolutely mental. And you can't argue with numbers like that. (even if they are struggling with tip seals judging by the blue smoke)

It's only plate so it's light, and Gold is super-awesome at heat reflection. McLaren F1s had it behind the cockpit. Of course it is! Though I prefere ceramic coating Well - arguments aside: it's show AND go; can't blame it for anything Hmmm - this is 'only' a 12B and runs a 8.77... - I wonder what potential the quad-rotor has....
