Maybe we can start ultra-badboy that goes so far down it's angled over the fog-lights?
Every time I look at the pics I just want a 944 in my life. It's just such a well balanced shape and the lines look great even 20 plus years on.

For what it's worth, here's another vote for the Turbo bumper!
I wouldn't be worried about any "you couldn't afford a Turbo" comments, especially once you've supercharged it or swapped the engine out.

The car looks great in the edition pics - I'm glad things seem to be on the up for you. I went round to see Dave at the weekend - thanks for pointing me in his direction he's a sound and very helpful guy.
I like the turbo front too and agree that it fits with 'the look' your after.

Turbo bumper..... I forgot to mention there is a lot of fuss in getting it on looking ok, as the wings/nose are different, I'm sure its nothing a blow lamp and saw cant sort. dunno about badboy fogs tbh, gona make the bonnet quite heavy. Thanks for input Guys, I normaly say if you need to ask other people what to do to your car you shouldnt do anything, but I was on the fence with this, swaying from original lines on a classic is somthing I have issues with. Mr countvaux, Dave is a top bloke isnt he, and knows 944s than anyone ive come accross, he only deals in facts which is a bonus, there have been occasions when he has been right about somthing fitting and a whole porsche forum being wrong, so I just ask him now. img840.imageshack.us/img840/4905/21614514282405245489610.jpg [/img]

I actually laughed out loud!
Fair point though, but think of it this way, this is the cheapest petrol is going to be now, so if you want a silly V8 that drinks petrol quicker than my BMW uses oil its the last chance!

Ian,leigh, mibs - my councilers, mojos of my thread..your valued opinions on my spoiler repair please. It is the scrufyest bit of the car and I always try to hide it. Option 2- Turbo/s2 bumper. Looks nice, but it does say "wanabe turbo" plus the lower lights will be costly or bodge. ? option 2 for me,with you already having the rear Turbo/S2 diffuser it balances it up better IMHO

What about the 2" deeper early bumper available on some sites? Keeps the original look with more aggression. This car gets better all the time, great evolution.

Wow, first post and I find a 944 wet dream! ... Love it love it love it! Had a few 944 bangers in my past and can deffo vote for the 944 Turbo front end.
There is an alloy crossmember "needed" BTW. Typically being sold for £45. Bumper irons Should be included at this high price.
You could get away with just hanging it from the holes in the wings - got a feeling that these holes don't line up though. Maybe 2 can be captured?
Its a heavy beast, polywhatever, not fiberglass.
OBVIOUSLY, wings will need to be trimed OR the bumper will need a trim. Waste of money ref. driving lights, O.E are £100+ each...Correct descision to use N.A units and brake duct the void...Seems you need a bit of coolin' anyway?

Glad you're keeping it, such a smart example Personally I love the look of the tinted rear lights, not seen it on a 944 before for some reason but i've always thought it would look good. PS i'd go with the turbo bumper if you can find one cheap enough

Thanks guys, major mojo boost! Ramirez- ive seen 1, but I cant find any. Stealth- thanks If the turbo front needs too much effort and bodging I will do somthing else. Only fabrication should be under the bonnet I'm a big homo about propper clips and brackets. I can get the bumper cheap but if I need to get more parts and spend a lot its game over. Brake ducts are the plan, I went to a tyre place for a quote and the guy asked- " do a lot of track days?" " err? no why" "cos your discs are blue and your tyres all heat perished" "Ah, thats just local driving" Chris- Thanks "porsche dave" has all the bumpers cheap, those pics are from his garden. I'm trying to get the car tidy and in good order before I give it some boost, don't want the engine in bits and a massive to do list.

I would go for option 3 it would be different and would, in my opinion, fit in with the style you are looking for.
Also I just want to say how much I agree with you that the 90's german tuning scene was the best ever and it is a real shame that it seems to be gone forever! Keep it up man

Hi mate did you move the audi on? If carlsberg made timewasters they would make "richlyons" Was comming on the 14th, but then the 21st, oh no had some issues so now its the 22nd, oh has to work so will deffo be the 26th, but no I get called on the 26th as it will now be today. And oh, no show and the phone is off, cool. Well thanks mate, I was supposed to start a new job but delayed it to meet you and sell this car. Also I have polished and cleaned the car 3 times expecting you to collect it. I have put off other buyers as you were 1st in the que. And as you have messed about for so long the T&T is even shorter and I have little chance of selling it. Could at least have called and said your not comming, as ive waited in all day and lost more money. Ive posted this as a warning to others not to deal with this RR user, who has cost me time and money.

Hey chris, sorry I didnt get back to you- all due to the above.
I don't want to waste more of your time so the fairest thing I can say is for you to look for other things. I cannot find another car for this kind of money that has the benifits of this. Everything I wanted has high insurance or "scene" tax. All I can say is for the cash I would have wanted for this you can buy a 944 3.0.
