For me this is a perfect example of cars that I like now but hated way back when.
As a teenager in the early 80's a mate of mine's Dad had one of these. We hated it, even back then it was a rough example. It was slow and rolled in the corners like a drunk camel on roller skates. The interior was vile with teak "look" table and wardrobe and orange cushions
Everytime it pulled away, turned, slowed down or went over a bump you could here the hangers rattling inside the wardrobe. Hideous thing back then.
Yet here we are all these years later and I'm loving this. As said by others, what a great alternative to the usual VW campers (not that I don't like them too).
I reckon this could be really nice when it's finished. Period colour respray, perhaps a more modern engine, natch a bit of lowering and stiffen to sort out the roly poly suspension (already done) and a decent retrim will see this turned into a very cool camper.
