It is with great sadness that I have decided to part with my pimp wagon.
I swapped it for my Golf about a month ago but I've since started a very serious love affair with an E34 BMW and I'm afraid the straight 6 has won! I really love how the Merc looks and how it handles but you can't ignore that 6 cylinder bark.
Let's start with the good bits:
2 recent tyres on the back
Very rare 15" Carat alloy wheels (including a 5th for the spare)
Serviced last week by myself including changing the plug leads as one of them fell apart in my hands!
Fully functioning 4 speed auto box with working kick down, economy and sports mode
will happily waft along at [ahem] mph returning a reliable 38mpg on a run and about 28 - 30 round town
Comes with my Kenwood CD player and 4 good speakers
Custom made black mats with '190e' embroidered in red on them
Electric windows / tilt and slide sunroof / passenger door mirror
7 months MOT
Lowered approx 60mm
Bad bits:
3 pin head sized surface rust spots on the drivers front wing
Exhaust manifold has a leaky gasket but I'll fix that if I get my asking price
Due to the lowering, the ride is a bit bumpy on roads around here because I live in the middle of nowhere in farming country but on the plus side, it handles like no other road car I've ever driven. It doesn't bump the car around, just the driver!
The radio reception is truly curse word!
The interior wants a good shampoo really. It's not disgusting, but I'm sure it could be cleaner.
I think that's everything but feel free to ask me any questions or even better, come round for a cuppa and a poke about (the car!).
P.S. I will take some more photos when I've cleaned it!
