My comment came from my sensible head, not my negative one. You could spend a lot of time and, I dare say, a fair bit of money on making some that people might consider to be 'fake' rather than wait a while for the real thing.

I reckon Rmad might be right. Hats off to you for trying, but a bit of time spent on Rinkya or Australian \ NZ eBay may well pay dividends.

just seen this thread, those corvette lights work for me, as for reversing lights, mount it under the bumper, even attached to the rear valance, Mk1 Fiestas? had a bezel mounted fog and reversing light bolted to the rear valance below the bumper black bezel and black tinted lens, you would probably never notice it either,

Atmo V8 Power . No slicks , No gas + No bits missing . Doing it in style. Austin A35van, very different------- but still doing it in style, going to be a funmoble

I've gone for a slighly different approach on mine - The round lights are pretty good, but I'm not sure they suit the shape of the C210. I've lightly modified a couple of reversing lenses and dropped them into the indicator positions on mine - with yellow bulbs it gives a line of whites with a line of reds below. I just need to hide a fog light under the bumper as best i can now. Should make the back of the car look wide and low with any luck - for minimal effort.

ooh that looks a lot better without the yellow lenses. why would you want to add a fog light thou? won't need one for mot.

walking down the street in wet, getting progressively colder, Hamilton, Canada.... I spied a plymouth. Then I remembered why I kept looking so hard at the rear of it...this thread! Granted it's not perfect...but close? Any 1973 or 1974 barracuda rear lens set will see you fit Also found the skyline lights on a 240z...now...VERY glad I didn't go down such a route....

Quite a lot of those series lights aren't "hotplate", but can be modified to suit. I was passing by another street earlier and saw a Chevy Vega, and it made me think. They are again the same style as the Corvette (all of the red lamp lights up brake/tail/turn, the silver trim in the middle is just there to make the lights match. The other lamp is red reflector and reversing lamp) but again could be modded. --Phil
