Right, we have volvo appreciation (which i'm about to head abck to shortly with some more pictures), now how about barge appreciation?
I must say i particularly like cruising about in some big old heap, bought for nearly nothing thanks to peopel being afraid of the tax, often incorrect mpg fears, and scared off by the sheer size of the things. Not me, i love them. And i've seen enough on here to know there are plenty of others who do too. So I'll start, hopefully soem more will follow.
Let's have barges, shiny/scruffy/european/japanese/american... whatever, if it's a big old bruiser of a car with an interior you could live in and a big lazy motor, let it live in here:
(just a few random ones from me until i get some nicer ones which should be on the other harddrive)

My favourite luxo-barge of all time, 9000 Aero and it's countyman, and perhaps nemesis, the 850R Sauna-turbo-tastic

I find it comical that all the cars in this "barge" thread would be considered mid size here in the states. If you want a car that can hold it's own with all the suburbans and excursions littering our roadways you gotta have a ROADMASTER! Seriously though. our roads are clogged with these things

^^ we get some of those as imports too, but where i live (Ireland) the taxes on cars have always been too high to have 5.0 plus cars in any sort of numbers. The big station wagon thing is fine in here, the truck not so much, i do like them too, but they're not quite the same thing as big cars, trucks deserve their own threads
