Next question : Does anyone have space / know where I can store a couple of motorbikes for a while? I'm hopefully getting a permanant garage but things are moving slowly Background : I may be taking a short-term job abroad for a while and will be loosing my temporary storage while I'm away. Ideal locations would be Midlands or Wales (North or South) but I'm open to suggestions Any help appreciated ! Calling scimjim

New adventure time! I can't help with the storage need but I'll wish you good luck in your endeavours, not that you'll need it. End of an era to see the Hunter leave your possesion.

these motors leak oil . . they have no front or rear oil seals, front uses a flinging disc inside the cover to throw the oil away from the shaft, and the rear has a scroll machined into the crankshaft after the main bearing to draw the oil backwards as it runs, if timgin cover is out of line they leak, if its parked facing down hill they leak, if its been silicon gasketted together badly they leak massively, the 1725 in my sceptre had so much silicon in it they had obstructed the oil drain holes in the front main bearing cap that drains the timing cover. she used a fair bit of oil.. lovely car though, ran a gold one for years, miss it terribly

Not spoken to the new owner recently so I'm not sure if it did get put back on the road or if he changed his mind. Ask me at Rrg20 - I should find out then if not before

Didn't realise you had sold it! Sorry! Hopefully it will be back on the road.
