Not spotted one of these threads so thought I'd start one off.
I'm going to encourage everyone to muck in, plenty of people have ideas and can use Photoshop so if there's something you want to see, or have made, then post away. I don't claim to be an expert at this sort of thing.
Should be a great way to play with ideas without having to get the power tools out so tha we can get a rough idea of what might and might not work.
If you can put what it is and a brief bit of what you've done to it, that might help too.
Here's a chunk of stuff from me.
Invacar one-seat roadster. Madness.
Removed the roof, lowered, smoothed, added chrome bumper and grille, two-tone paint job.
Ford Sierra estate
Lowered, handles and locks removed.
Lowered, shaved, body-colour Cosworth bumpers, panel-vanned, chrome side trim, reprofiled rear arch
Fiat Punto, variations on a custom theme.
Lowered, body-coloured bumpers, reprofiled and trimmed rear arch, rear lights and side window panelled over, shaved.
Shaved, lowered, panel-vanned, white scallops, moon discs
Mercedes (led sled experiment)
Lowered, roof chop, fast-backed, reprofiled rear arch and side trim, banded steel wheels, smoothed front with round lamps, 2-doored, chrome mirrors.
Vauxhall Carlton
Roof chop and laid down rear screen, 2-doored, lowered, smoothed front bumper, reprofiled bonnet and wings, shaved.
Vauxhall Astra
Lowered, shaved, Fiat Punto headlights, reprofiled grille and bonnet, bigger alloys
Volvo 740
Converted from estate to pick-up (BIVA nightmare), side pipes, big and little wheels, improved engine power
Citroen Ami 6
Lowered, Rear window profile altered, shaved handles and filler cap, removed bumpers.
Ford Escort Pick-up (converted from van)
Lowered, banded steels, smaller door mirrors, clear side repeaters, frenched rear lights, reprofiled rear arch and valance, body-coloured front bumper.
Finally, an Austin Princess mild Boso
Lowered, wide alloys, widened arches, deepened sills, chin spoiler, sun blind, fins, mirrors moved to wings, extended bonnet and wings, removed door handles and badges.
