There is no dish on those wheels.
Is an SD1 a RWD car or is an SD1 not a RWD drive car?
Therefore the wheels fail no matter what IMO. No tint either. Wont suit the lovely lovely blue.
I'm sure there are more options out there though...

I think you might be confusing offset with dish SS.
Please don't let the less than positive posts put you off, I really do think it'll look great.

As a P6 owner I say go for it, looking at some of the Jeep wheels myself.

Those wheels Jag, but are from a higher source XJ220 No they aren't. They're off an X300 XJR. The XJ220 doesn't have a 5 stud fitting, and has seven spokes, rather than five. Regards, Rich

The problem with lowering an SD1 is that the floorpan and sills are mentally low anyway so you don't want to go too low else you'll bottom out everywhere, Rimmer Bros do springs that lower it something like 30mm lower than the Vitesse height which is about 30mm lower than a normal SD1.
How about looking into somehow fitting 17" BBS Split-Rims off an 8-Series if possible? I know they're different PCD so it'd mean some hard work.

I really like that with the jag alloys, maybe them in black might look good?

Jag alloys are 5x4.75" Rover is 5x5"
no fit.
I have been looking at those very same alloys as a possible fit for my Buick. I never seem to find a full set in decent condition at a good price though.
And in answer to the original question, I believe the Rover SD1 VIP had a different alloy wheel to that style anyway. Same as the Vanden PLas I think.
just say no to matt/satin black.
gloss black, hell yeah.
original blue is nice too.

I finally got round to getting all the bits to fit the wheels. they will need painting up yet but I stuck them on t get the idea. the wheels are 17" jeep grand cherokee wheels from a 2002 model as grand cheokees post 2001 are 5x5" - same as SD1 I used ford alloy wheel nuts as they have the right thread type and the taper was correct at 60 degress. I used a 5mm spaer on the wheels - I am still to make a spigot ring to suit. tyres are 225/50/17 which is the biggest size I can get under the suspension cup, I have lost a little bit of lock due to the width. I now need to lower it about an inch I am really pleased with the result, so what do you reckon.........................

I ctually think that really works, would be tempted to fit a slightly narrower tire on them to get just a slight stretch for clearance on thing's.
Otherwise i thing paint car original colour, slight drop and job done. ;D

I think you might be confusing offset with dish SS. Not at all. RWD cars require dish. FWD can run either. General rule (IMO of course )

That looks GREAT. GREAT! To think no-one bought this car for £300 when it was for sale a couple of months ago. I think photoshop no.2 looks the best out of the above options.
