As always a fantastic weekend.
BIG thank you to the organisers and staff, for being run ragged by the rest of us and still smiling.
Moment of the weekend, watching the driver of the black Escort walking away after he rolled it. Exciting to watch, but please don't make a habit of it!

again RRG delivers, i made a last minute attempt to make it and my biggest thanks (apart from to the organisers of course) go to Dave aka Mk14dr and Samwell for making it possible for me to get there.
Friday night had me in tears when Ryan returned from the Area 52 boys absolutely smashed and throwing up, so we moved his car ;D
I could not believe the turnout compared to last year, incredible, gonna need another field next year.
Sunday was spent watching the racing most of the time, as said by many other the highlight was colonelk drifting and the bmw's drifting amazingly. I think colonelk actually made it round the entire track in drift, even skidding up to the hairpin with a lot of tense people in the crowds haha.
shame my fiesta couldnt make it but never mind, next year ;D

Also, as a trader we had a great day. Thanks to everyone we met and all that sort of thing. Can't wait for next year ;D

^ Thats because i went I honestly think this was possibly one of the best shows i have ever been too. Its not too expensive or overpriced, the camping arrangements were great as was the atmosphere, then the show delivered beyond my expectations! I didnt think it would be as busy as that! Its such a good venue and was also nice to have a look around the museum too (which is also very well priced). I know i thanked you when i left Hotwire but i waill again, thank you. You don't understand what you have started... roll on 2011

My thoughts exactly. As a trader I get to a lot of shows. A lot. This genuinely does stand head and shoulders above the rest. Organisation, facilities, atmosphere, it does work and is a very impressive package. A lot of the shows I go to leave me feelling a bit 'meh', not this. Even though it was hard work for me I really enjoyed it. Just wish I had more time to look around at the cars really! Everyone involved should be very proud.

I think colonelk actually made it round the entire track in drift, even skidding up to the hairpin with a lot of tense people in the crowds haha. I linked the whole track too after a couple of learning laps under my belt (and a cheeky accidental 3 lap run lol) but I have got a cheat stick which gives me a cheaty advantage over the much admisred Senny. The hairpin with the cones cutting half of it off was tricky. Slowing down from the fastest part of the track into the tightest part with a wall in front of you can be a bit off putting lol.

What a weekend!! I was quite stressed beforehand for various reasons but slowly the RRG vibe took over. Great atmosphere on camp. Great show. Really well organised, but friendly crew. Great cars present. Track Attack was great fun to watch - I'll get quicker!! Winning an Award was icing on the cake, massive surprise and chuffed to bits. Gotta lotta love for RR and RRG. Next year a must!

Mike you were rocking it for sure I think I'm at the stage now I could do with a cheat stick TBH Hope someone got vids of the lunchtime run, because I did go a bit nuts LOL. first lap was ropey, but started to pull it together a bit after

First time for me and I absolutely loved it. Not been to a show or campsite with that good a vibe for years. Machinery on display at both the campsite and show was awesome, only matched by the people - top bunch of heads to get smashed in a field with!
Big thanks to Hotwire for sorting us out a clubstand at short notice, and the A52 guys for loaning Gent (he's straight) a drill after he smashed the skyline to bits!
Looking forward to next year already!

The last RRG we attended was Gaydon, so it was a real surprise just how much it's grown. It'll definately be a permanent fixture on our calendar now. Next time we'll be there Friday but couldn't manage it this year as I was still putting the Acty back together on saturday morning.
Massive thanks for all the RR people who made it happen and spent their time making things run so well. Thanks to your efforts we had a brilliant weekend.
And finally, cheers to everyone who made the effort to drag themselves down to the Gathering. Any event is only as good as the people who go and the level of enthusiasm and commitment from you people is the ultimate mojo booster. It was nice to meet a lot of you in person for the first time too. Roll on RRG 2011 !
