Thanks for all the offers of gazebo's etc....if everyone brings what they can fit in then we know we've got enough. We probably won't use them all, but better to have too much than not enough.  Same with cooking facilities. If we can get a good generator confirmed then we'll be able to bring the two A52 fridges which should help keep things from going off and more importantly, keeping the beers cool ;D A few guys will be arriving at mine on Tues & Weds and will be staying at my house for the few days leading up to the Gathering. Thursday is going to be a pre-Gathering party at the unit, all staying over and heading off mid morning. Sound good? It should be! ;D |

Got your text and replied...but thought a back up might be required. If there's room for the mr2 on the block then that'd be great. Don't know about a gazebo...if I can shoot back home for a couple of days I'll have a dig about. I've only got the one tranja too but it'll make tea like a good 'un.
Can't wait for this as it's been on/off/on/off and back on for me and now I may even have something suitably in keeping to show up in.
If there isn't any room for the mr2, then I don't mind providing two hands and two feet to steer something over there for someone else if we're struggling for drivers...

Can bring projector for the Gathering cinema, but someone will need to bring a laptop! Markbognor is not attending til Sunday, and therefore cannot bring the usual cinema kit with him! Ill bring a laptop down with me, but you will have to tell me what to put on it, meybe fast and the furious? ;D I'm gonna try and get down thursday for the party at a52 if thats ok Bruce? (well if matt can get the time off work) |

Fraid I won't be in the Saab 900, just not enough time to get it on the road again. I will however deffinately be there in the BMW 525. I'll be along early evening saturday. Would love to come earlier but work is being a PITA.

because i didnt know when/what was goin on with the a52 stand i have already signed up with the southwest stand.....
tbh I'm not too bothered wich stand I'm with its all one big happy family here at retrorides anyway..
so since ive already on the southwest list (and there is more that enough on this stand) i don't think its a prob if i stay on the southwest stand..
if people really want my car on this stand then i can change but I'm sure it doesnt matter really anyhow..
I'm sure i will be spending a lot of time here on the comfy sofas anyway (if I'm still alowed as a traitor lol)

As I said in my text if I can make it there i'll go on the stand. Got tax/mot the week before and lots of work to get it through, and need to get another set of wheels sorted as I 50p'd one of the 19s this morning.

Gutted, I got to drop out of the Friday and Saturday shenanigans due to work, had booked the time off, but we've had some one leave so its all hands on decks, plus I'm being paid extra as well as getting my days off back in
so if weathers good I might drive down late saturday night after work and pitch up a small tent, but its more than likely I'll be there bright n early sunday morning now
gutted I'll be missing out on the action, but happy to be earning some well needed extra readies - I'm hoping this ok to still qualify me and the Santana onto the stand for the sunday..
also hoping to get over to A52 in it some time soon too
