I do remember a Capri running Mustang rear lights and front end appearing in Street Machine many years ago.

When I was planning my project car I realised that the main difference that sets muscle cars apart is the shouldered look created by the line where glass meets metal tapering in toward the rear of the car. Modern cars don't have it as they are created with maximum internal space in mind. To create it on a modern car you would need to build the arches out but then you have the problem of the doors and you end up with something like a wide arch rally/track style body kit. You can see what I mean if you take a look at the 'chop shop' muscle car Capri. www.yourdiscovery.com/web/chop-shop-2/episode-guide/episode-four/Now take a look at the shoulders on this Dodge Charger..... makes the Capri's side elevation look 2 dimensional.

Here's a Mustang..... is not as exagerated as the Charger but still gives it that 'beefed up' look associated with muscle cars.

The project car I'm working on has it..... just doesn't have it under the bonnet as well, right now.

Wasn't 'Muscle Capri' the whole idea behind the Capri GT?

JC, who does that rear wing of yours? Is that an old RGA, or something still in production? Want to sell it on if you're finished with it? Is it the gooey flex-cell-rubber kind?

You thinking of doing body mods to it or just muscle car inspired wheel choices etc?
White writing on the tyres, big fat rear tyres, rake, lots of dish, loud, v8. Job done

Job done thinking just wheels etc, even though i want that look i don't want a chop shop thrown together look.....maybe some vents in the rear quarters if it didnt look to silly.

You can get rear louvres for the rear screen and side windows and they are epicly cool but impossible to find!
It's pretty easy to get the look tbh, depending on how extreme you wanna go with the look
