It sounds slighlty misleading to me

So you are infact having to go through the whole rigmarole of getting an annual quote which you will then have to cancel. I thought you get a 14 day cooling off period normally with insurance policies so can't quite see the advantage (unless you have to pay for those two weeks after cancelling). Of course if you were doing this regulary it could be a problem.
