288 GTO for me please. I'll PM you my address for delivery.
Probably my fave Ferrari of all time (yep, I prefer this to the 250 GTO and everything else!) and I thought it would look awful in white....but I actually think it looks better than the Rosso Corsa! I never thought I'd hear myself saying that about one of my dream cars....but there you go.
Thanks for posting that up Dan. Brightened my morning ;D

Got £1.16 in my pocket and just found 20p down the side of the sofa. If we chip in I think we might be in a strong position to put in a bid. I can always PX one of the Hustlers too (cash my way ;D)

I've got about 3 quid, a screwdriver and a presta-schrader valve adaptor next to me, can I go in on the 288 GTO too? I've always loved them since having a couple of model ones when I was a kid. Then there's the group B links, and the perfect proportions.

Very possibly - I believe he has three 250s in his collection, including the newly acquired GTO.

I'm guessing the 250TR is actually one of the DK Engineering recreations? Were ir real, RHD would suggest an ex-works rather than customer car and that would be worth more that the GTO or California that he's bought in the last couple of years. Even if it isn't real, that would still be my choice. You young 'uns can have the plastic fantastics. edit - If I'd actually clicked the bloody link in the first place...

i like the idea of bucking the trend and going white, or any colour apart form red, but not sure about the dashboard colour, seems a little over the top, may look better in traditional black, IMO

They've all been trimmed to match - same seat colour, same dash colour. It's a bit Marmite, but I like it.

Did Chris Evans have them all painted? Yes, I think he did. Don't think it was a good idea having seen all the pics though. Some cars should be kept as they left the factory.

yup, just goes to prove you can't buy class

I'd have to disagree with you there. I mean, I'm not saying that you can buy class in a metaphysical/social sense, but are you saying that any of the cars above lack class...? I'd say that every single one of them is something that would make the Tifosi gibber and dribble with pride and delight.
What would you say is wrong with a white Ferrari, exactly? I'm just interested.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Not a fan of White Ferraris, every other car could pull it off, but Ferrari's have to be red. Especially the 288 and F40!
