From an ebay-ad back in Feb, found and posted on Barryboys by HowManyGiraffes: Quote: "Selling points include metal body work (rusting body kit included) with a wheezy and underpowered 1.6 NA diesel engine mated to a 4 speed gearbox. Quality " ;D

Oh wow, I think I've stumbled onto A-N-Other car forum full of negative attitudes. If you think its curse word, good for you, but keep that negativity to yourself, AND post something you do like as pennace for infesting this good forum with a post that bears no constructive merit at all.
I think the idea is great (love those J-vans), but it needs smoothing out and the front doors skinning too.

*facepalm*
I spent quite a lot of time on Barryboys in my young, angry days. Then I realised that if I was going to be spending time on the internet looking at cars (time that could otherwise have been spent driving, drinking or doing it with girls), then I might as well be looking at cars that I liked, rather than actively seeking out ones that I didn't for the momentary schadenfreude of going 'I don't like that, lol'.
All of that anger is tremendously bad for you, you know. It shames me to think of all the people I was needlessly unpleasant to in those wilderness years. I'm sure karma will get me in the end.
As for this Type 25 - well, you can't say that it's not original. It's not my cup of tea, but it must have taken ages and a lot of skill to make the thing. I'm impressed.
See? That's growth. Five years ago I'd have been all 'that's well rubbish, roflcopter'.

Thanks for posting some more pics of it alphista I must admit when I first saw it I laughed but being a fan of both boso style and VW's I was glad to see an amalgamation of the two ( with a few other styles in the mix aswell ... "murdered out boso rat " anyone ? ;D ) With a lot of work it could look great but it would more than likely still be hated by most of the VW fans so it'll likely end up getting worse and worse until it get's weighed in

Well, love it or hate it,as others have said ,I admire the amount of work thats in it,and the time it must've taken.Must've been very brave to start that project! Personally,I like most of it..Weight wise ,all that extra metal probably doesnt weigh more than one passenger. So the engine will have to wheeze a bit more. Who cares about performance,I hope he got 'the look' he was after!
