	after trolling the internet and seeing what prices retro looking roof racks were i decided to make one... half way through the build i saw the other post added by patlink which pushed me to finish it.. here's some pic's of what i did: what do you think guys?

	i used 20mm conduit. was a rite crapper 2 weld even when i ground the galv off.. happy with the end product tho

	but very nice roof rack look great in white try some dome nuts to finish the clamps off

	How sturdy is it... My old roof rack used to buckle at even the mention of using it...

	welded roof racks are solid look a few post lower down at the one i made for my mini
