ha ha! forgot how high the benzo was - pushing Nige's lapsang poochong for reach-for-the-skies-ness! You can just about make out the comedy hand-wash the neighbour's kid did on the pug too, so much for charity |

August MeetThis was a great meet too (even if I did turn up in an '06 Laguna estate..  ) Retro Rides / Riders in attendance this time: MarkBognor - Nissan Micra Nigel Bickle - Barkas campervan (yes, really!) MyLittleTony - Pug 205 dizzle Micrat - Rover trackslag MantaPhil - Manta Mk4 Astra Ford Transit Bevertail with a old school rodded Morris Minor on the back! Shane (? not on here I don't think?) - Nissan Micra Braeburn - Mk3 Cortina SEXBOMB!  First things first - this car is HOT! One of my favorite cars in the whole wide world..    Now I've got that out the way we can all laugh at the big silly boot install ;D  See, here are some people laughing at it amazed by it ;D  Micrats Rover trackslag project has really moved on in the last month! I stupidly failed to get any pictures of the inside but the colourmatched tools are awesome  Closer to the ground too by the looks of it?   Whereas Tonys 205 still has the exact same comedy boot dirt / carwashing incompetence as last month..  The weird & wonderful world of Nigel Bickle..   3-cyl 2-stroke engine sounded weird / mental / awesome / like a wasp  MantaPhil stopped by on the way back from collecting this Morris Minor from a customer - it was rodded in/around the 70's & headed back to our barn for engine & brake recommissioning and pre-MoT stuffs..    Oooh! Fiat Twin-cam - tRad!  Some low Micras (messieurs Bognor & Shane)     Nigel demonstrates how the Barkas' pop-up roof cunningly clears the roof racks.. MarkBognor looks on, amused no doubt   The man himself - proud owner of some of the weirdest tat I've ever seen ;D  I always omit to mention the cars of our esteemed Landlord, CTI Stu - so here's his this month (tho it changes frequently, and has since..) A nice Mk3 Golf GTi - rideheight & wheels have been well considered IMO   I don't seem to have any pics from the September meet either - not sure why (was it raining?).. Hope to see y'all tonight anyways - I'll bring my camera ;D

I got the right hump that I missed last night, I had performance management paperwork to do, and some prep for a job interview tomorrow.

Stu I think that is a great idea - maybe a day between chrimbo and new year - so we can get out in the daylight.

ta for the nice pics and kind words about the ol' girl! can't believe how high she sat in the 1st pic lol, it was lowered 2nd time out!!! sorry i missed last night, i finish work at 5, and home is a good 20 miles the wrong way (being a hampshire chap but we have no meets there!) so unless i can pester a mate in bognor for a bit i end up with nothing to do for 2 hours!
if any newbies are reading this though i recommend the meet everyones nice and its a great venue, plus 'old rosie' is my fermented apple drink of choice (only 1 if your driving though children!) ill try and make next months, lots of changes again!!!

Ace pics Softcore - feels like a long time back now. I was so much younger then.
We did indeed get FREE BEERS this time (-reckon the sell by date must have been close - or Stu's new son has turned his head). Prob need to wait another 9 months till the next freebie.
I'll keep asking..

Next meet November 2nd?? I just found this thread, I'll try and get down cos this place is just around the corner from my parent's and I'm sure my Dad would love to come down :-D
Just to check I googled the postcode, it is the Maypole isn't it??

i got some poxy old guys retirement do which was meant to be tuesday but got changed to wednesday  if there wasnt free food id bunk it, but he is a nice old guy so its only fair |
