I might just have to go and get a copy ;D Whats on the cover? My local place sometimes has the last month ones one the shelf too Well worth getting last month's too.....the one with the red Dolomite on the cover. That issue has a full feature all about Area 52 written & photographed by said Bryn with a load of the RR regulars in the shots & article. ;D

I haven't bought it for a while as I'm not completely crazy about the layout and writing in it (which may be because I'm a boring old fart). I think i'll make an exception this time though.

With Lipman on the shutter and Bryn on the pen you can't go wrong. Top feature (I'm not being biased, please ignore the fact I'm in the same office as Retro Cars). I didn't actually know it was being done, so when I saw it I actually did laugh out loud! Love the opener too, very 'Bryn'! Oh, and while we're on the subject, have another pic of the Landy being driven by the most handsome of Northern men...ahem... Chris

About the only thing that annoys me about retro cars is that the staff seem to farm out all the work done on their cars to others. Apart from that it's improved dramatically.

Congratulations to all those who got their cars featured!
I've started buying Retro Cars a lot more recently. The articles and content is getting a lot better and I don't mind the PVW style format. As long as they don't follow the scene-PVW-scene-I'm-better-than-you-because-I've-got-Bentley-rims-scene Bullplop then I'll keep buying it.
I also like Practical Performance Car mag. Does anyone read that on here?

Yes, Bruce, please on both. Or even simply to share a copy of the articles, if you can't part with an actual issue.

Matt It amazes me that so many of the motoring journos for 'our' kind of mags do undertake their own work. Do you expect all of your local mechanics to be able to put together magazines too? ;D

On the flipside, some Journo's just get stuck straight in....even when it's not their own car. Not mentioning any names LOL Approx 10pm and somewhere around freezing in the unit: Now around 1.30am and still going for it....despite it being well below freezing now ....but you already knew all this anyway

It wouldn't bother me if it was for major work, but taking it to a garage for them to change the wheels or something equally daft annoys me greatly. Matt

Went into my local whsmiths today and they still have the redcar/A52 issue on the shelves :/
Mind you I can pick one up for anyone that wants one if they PM me tonight! (assuming they are still there tomorrow lunchtime!)

Only the second time I’ve bought Retro Cars but I’ll be getting it again on the strength of this issue.
Absolutely LOVE the Landy, can’t believe it wasn’t on the cover! No disrespect to the fantastic Chevette meant either, loved that too! (I’ve had three of them…)
I’ve always been a Custom Car reader, and Street Machine too for a while. Even stuck with SM when the then publishers were testing the water before launching Max Power, but I reckon Retro Cars fills a distinct niche very well. I might even subscribe….
