had a little play with the arosa again today lol i think this is now the final piece except for the hand made steel iron cross for the grill which i am in the middle of fabricating with a highlight polished edge however i digress:[- i got rid of the star on the bonnet cos i didnt like it , i touched up the overspray on the flanks and boot, retouched the roof and the door jams, and i have attached a likkle sticker then i removed the star with 4" roller bit of grain comments please, oh and the grill is only out for fitting of the badge

Normally, I don't like Seats of any variety but this one is excellent purely because of what you've done to it. Once a bland little hatchback, now a proper shouty little punk with a german army fetish! Though I do want to get a white chalkpen and scribble 'baby' under the right of where it says Achtung on the side... but U2 isn't very punk, or German, or much to do with the military for that matter.
Keep up the good (or bad, I suppose) work on this little monster.

i didnt know the tailgate was different but bumpers are smoothed so maybe it is different to mate to the bumper still a great little run about and it stands out a bit , the gti goes like sh1t off a chromium plated red hot shovel but they are a bit steep. cheers dave

I don't know why VW thought this was necessary, but I prefer the Arosa tailgate, and many folks switch them onto Lupos.

not sure why anyone into dubs would not like seats, i think they're better tbh, obviously the same mechanically but a bit rarer and sportier.
anyway not sure about the achtung either but since you're getting rid i don't suppose it matters. Was a fun read while it lasted.

This car is relevant to my interests !
Saw it on the bay and was tempted.
also
SEAT didnt 'steal' the Lupo lol
The Arosa was 'badge engineered' short wheel base polo 6N.. as in it came before the Lupo....
VW sell it under the SEAT Badge refine any problems then re badge it as a VW. and up the price lol
cracking cars, due to the location in the bay of the strut tops the front end is incredibly stiff once lowered. Also The torsional rigidity of the early non-airbagged Seat Arosa's shells is stiffer than that of the later Lupos !
Not to mention parts are incredibly cheap ! and the fact my 1400 auto will do 370 motor way miles on £35 tank of fuel.
