I say keep 'em. I'm sure Demon Tweeks do magnetic numbers though... then you could have it both ways!

lol i guess i'll keep them then, i've received mixed response's from my mates but its kind of known round my area now for the numbers - had a random guy approach me in the pub asking if i drove 'number 78' Will have to get some more chequered tape though and try and put it on a bit straighter next time! The reason for it needing a respray is that even though the paint looks nice and shiny it's had a cheap paint job before i bought it and when i remove stickers off it takes the paint off with it and thats why the chequered tape is there as when we did some work on the sills I masked the paint work up, so as not to damage it but the masking tape pulled the paint off!! so the chequered tape came to the rescue! (a bodge that actually looks ok ;D) Just noticed in that 2nd pic how it makes the car look left hand drive

Loose them, doesn't look quite right on an otherwise standard looking car.

I'd go for round, and shove one on the bonnet for good measure

I'd say keep 'em, but on a round background. Stick one on the bonnet as well, but spray the bonnet matt black.

don't like them, maybe if they were round? and bigger? Technicaly you are suppose to put a black line through them to use it on the road. Just tell them its your phone number or something! Where do they draw the line between race numbers and just signwiting? who knows!

I'd keep them, but like others have said, put em on a round background.

Going slightly off at a tangent here, but I didn't know numbers were illegal on UK roads! There are stacks of new Mingies and "Beetles" sold with (vom-inducing) decals on them... I wonder how they get around it? It would be quite funny if all those nasty new Beetle "Herbie" lookalikes had to stick tape all over their numbers....hehe....

Round looks good, How about a 2 tone paint job this time? The back end is going to be lowered 2.5" soon with some race springs as i'm not happy with how high its sitting at the back at the moment and the wheels will be changing.
