So Bolly....Ray and Chris and Shaz are all dead then? Thought Alex was in a coma laying in bed or something Alex was in a coma for the first two series but but when she was shot at the end of series two she went in to a secondary coma type thing. When she woke from that at the start of this series she had freaky visions of Gene calling her back and saw the stopped clock in her real world hospital room before waking up back in her 1980s hospital bed. After she awoke back in 1983 at the start of this series, every time she checked the time it was 9:06. With this and the lack of any contact from the real world in this series we are to presume that she died when she awoke from the secondary coma at 9:06. I think that makes sense. Did anyone spot the Rover 25 at the end of the last series btw? Also, I swear I've seen modern saloons lying about in chase scenes during this series. Maybe it was my mind playing tricks on me tho? Has anybody kept a modern car score on this show? Also, FredTransit how do we get a special pass to join you when you're on a casting day? ;D

See, the Rover 25 in the last series could be explained away as a sign that she was waking from her coma, heading back to 2010 and so seeing things representing her own time. The modern cars in this series though??? THey should have got one of us to watch through each episode during editing to spot any car irregularities!
Another thing, how come in any modern made show set in a previous decade you only ever see cars which are pretty new? I mean it doesn't surprise us when we see a 10 or 15 year old Corsa in the background of The Bill for example but producers seem convinced that a late sixties car wouldn't ever be seen in the eighties and so on. I guess it's all about layers of symbolism and signage or some such. This doesn't apply to the Jag in Withnail and I however. An 8 year old rustbucket? I know some standards were slack in the car industry back then but...

I've never watched an episode this this, ever! (My TV hasn't been connected to anything other than a PC for the last 4 years) Now I feel like I've missed out! Worth the 16gb download?

Well I thought it was a great finale to a fantastic series (both Life on Mars and Ashes to ashes , did shed a tear for the Quattro and winced at the Datsun to Mercedes interface though Bye bye Gene and the team Yup it's me luton in the final scene, and me parcel van too, on the corner, you can just see her nose and humongus screen. On a similar note ( well it was set in the early eighties ) me and the missus watched the film 'Worried about the Boy ' about Boy George/culture club on BBC2 a week or so ago and I was wondering if the Transit and the Granada were supplied by you Fred ?

When the cortina went on ebay, the ad was written by Gene Hunt! I wonder if the Quattro will show up the same?
